LUBOFSKY PC is a California-based professional corporation founded by Mike Lubofsky, JD, MA, a licensed attorney and psychotherapist. Mike earned his Juris Doctor degree from Boston University School of Law, and also has a Master's Degree in Psychology from Wright Institute in Berkeley, California, Mike has practiced law in California for many years as was also admitted to practice in Connecticut. As an attorney, Mike remains an active member of the State Bar of California, uniquely positioning him to refer and coordinate class action lawsuits with leading class action law firms across the United States. His dual expertise in law and behavioral science informs a thoughtful, consumer-focused approach to advocacy and corporate accountability.
In 2025, Mike founded ClassActionFirms.com to fill a crucial gap in the consumer marketplace: a trusted, centralized resource for understanding class action litigation and connecting consumers directly with qualified class action attorneys. Having worked in a marketing capacity with two of San Francisco’s most prominent class action law firms for over fifteen years, Mike developed a deep appreciation for the power of collective legal action to challenge systemic corporate misconduct. His work with these firms offered him a front-row seat to the complexities of high-stakes litigation and the importance of ensuring that consumers are informed, represented, and protected.
Through LUBOFSKY PC and ClassActionFirms.com, Mike brings together his legal acumen, marketing experience, and professional integrity to advance transparency and consumer empowerment. He understands that class actions are not merely lawsuits—they are a vital mechanism for deterring corporate wrongdoing, restoring public trust, and compensating individuals harmed by unlawful practices. Under his leadership, LUBOFSKY PC stands as a bridge between consumers and the nation’s top class action law firms, helping ensure that justice is accessible to all.
While I do not participate on any insurance panels, I routinely provide clients with monthly Superbills that clients then submit to their insurance providers to request reimbursement for out-of-network services.
I am also a Mental Health Hearing Officer with the Superior Court of California, County of Alameda, where I adjudicate 5250 hearings involving involuntary psychiatric holds.
While my practice integrates many approaches including Buddhist, Existential and Gestalt theories, I work largely on an intuitive basis coming from a place of deep curiosity.
